New storyline

I have changed my story to another case that I worked on in Florida this summer. This case involved my partner and I going to this house and the first room we came to was a bedroom. This bedroom was in total disarray and there was blood everywhere. There were beer cans all over a desk, his bed was completely torn apart, an artificial tree was knocked over, there were clothes all over the floor, and blood piles and spatter all over the place. A blood trail lead to the kitchen where there was dirty clothes at the end, then the trail led to the living room, and finally, the bathroom. There was an outside laundry room with an unpleasant odor coming from it. As it turns out, the man that was living there was an alcoholic. He was just let out of rehab and relapsed. He binge drank the entire night, drinking 23 beers. He was so drunk that he hit his head on a glass door that was beside his bed. He did not know that he had hurt himself, due to his intoxication. He bled out for two days. The meter man was checking the meter and noticed the bedroom door was open and there was a blood trail outside leading to the bedroom door. He opened the door and called 911. The EMT's picked him up and he ended up living. The odor coming from the laundry room was his feces. He couldn't figure out where the bathroom was despite being in there at some point. I believe this story is like a puzzle. There definitely is drama. Not really a contest.

I think this is an interesting story so far. It reminds me of an episode of CSI or some other crime show like that. I like the use of vivid details throughout. That really lets you get a picture of the story and setting in your head.
